The First Day of Forever

Written and recorded in my bedroom studio to start off my new Bedroom Sessions challenge where I am writing and recording a new song ever week for the next year!

The First Day of Forever is about new beginnings, meeting someone for the first time, starting something new and the feelings we get in these situations. From butterflies in your tummy to the tingly feeling of touching someone else's hand for the first time - I'm sure you can relate to the feelings described!

The song is based around the 12 bar blues structure, with a little movement in the chorus to keep things interesting. Inspired by Chuck Berry and his incredible blues songs the track starts with a guitar introduction leading to the first verse.
